Had a really good experience at Shottenkirk Honda Decatur. When we talked about our budget they worked with us to get what we wanted within our budget, and were upfront about what they could work with us on. Usually taking a toddler to buy a car isn’t a good time, but they made my whole family feel right at home.

My sales guy got a 1-off - I came in ready to buy. New, slightly used, very nice car w 5500 miles on it. Brand new as far as warranties.. The sales guy could've done better, but he was fine - nice & got through everything. I could teach the sales guys some things, but - who cares. Good experience. I'm thinking fair cost, the 10 yr / 100k mile add on warranty cost a good bit, but worth it. My 2 cents

Service was friendly and helpful.

I made my first visit to Shottenkirk Honda Decatur today for them to do an inspection and find what was causing a clunking sound and vibration coming from the engine compartment when I would start my truck. Nobody else had been able to correctly determine the cause. Bill the Service Manager and his mechanics did a thorough inspection and determined that my truck needs a rear engine mount. I hope to take my truck back to them soon and get it installed. I could tell from the start that my Service Advisor Emile really cared about the problem I was having. She let me know that they would do whatever was necessary to find the cause of the clunking sound and fix it. She handled all of the communication, in processing and out processing in a very professional manner. Bill explained what they did to isolate the cause of the problem and assured me that a new rear engine mount would solve the problem. I am very happy with what they did today.

My sales person, Dom, was super helpful during my shopping experience. Raleigh was very attentive as well. I could not have ask for more from Jesse in him helping me make my decision on a vehicle. Thank you to the entire team!

Friendly, competent, accommodating, caring, and respectful people. Shout out to Michael Morgan in sales, he makes it happen every time. We’ve bought 6 cars from Shottenkirk Honda of Decatur for ourselves and have referred others to them. You can’t beat a Honda Accord, though I’ve loved all my Hondas. 🙂 The Service Center is wonderful, too. They always get me in and out quickly.
